# DEEP SOLUTIONS  ## About DEEP SOLUTIONS DEEP SOLUTIONS is a VR installation that lets participants explore the hidden layers of their digital selves. Using custom software, it pulls ad tracking profiles and location data from users' Facebook accounts. Visitors are guided through accessing this normally hidden data, which is then transformed into a unique virtual world. In the VR experience, users see a 360-degree environment built from the location data Facebook quietly gathers on mobile devices, exposing the extent of tracking most people are unaware of. Participants interact with objects linked to their ad profiles, often misrepresenting their real interests and identities. Deleted posts and removed friends resurface as eerie data ghosts, highlighting how tracking systems retain information we try to erase.
