This third iteration of DEEP SOLUTIONS by Matthew Waddell and Craig Fahner is an immersive environment that invites participants to take a virtual voyage into the dark and strange corners of the web. Visitors to DEEP SOLUTIONS enter a Faraday cage - a device that reduces electromagnetic energy such as WiFi and cellular signals - and are led on a seven-minute voyage into the depths of the internet. DEEP SOLUTIONS turns the act of prowling the web into an embodied journey through both familiar and uncanny environments, questioning the role of surveillance and anonymity in online spaces.
